Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Who Was Your Favorite DOOL Newcomer of 2020?

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that we had a few new faces and some recasts this year. So, which character, either new or recast, was the absolute favorite in 2020? Keep reading to find out what we think and then share which Salem newbie is your favorite.

Isabel Durant As Claire Brady

DOOL spoilers reveal that when Claire Brady was released from Bayview, Olivia Rose Keegan came back to play the role. However, it was only temporary due to her already committing to another project. Actress Isabel Durant was chosen to take over the character. At first, we weren’t sure about Durant. She was older, which some fans think is so Claire has more romantic possibilities. Even though there is a noticeable difference with the new Claire, we have actually grown to love her. She has matured and seems more patient, sympathetic and caring. She doesn’t seem nearly as selfish as the old Claire.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lindsay Arnold As Allie Horton

Allie Horton returned to Salem with a big problem, as well a big belly! Newcomer Lindsay Arnold appeared on our televisions screens. We immediately saw her as sweet, innocent, non-confrontational and passive. We didn’t see her as being a strong character. Head writer Ron Carlivati said we would see that Allie really is like her mother, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). We didn’t see that at all until she tried to neuter Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Due to her showing that side, we think Allie is going to be quite interesting after all.

Alyshia Ochse As Zoey Burge

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that we met Zoey Burge. At first, she was played by General Hospital star Kelly Thiebaud. However, she wasn’t able to stay for long because of other commitments. So, Alyshia Ochse took over the role and we really liked that version of Zoey. She was hard to figure out and we kept wondering which side she was really on.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Disappointing Arrivals

There is one character that we do not like at all, which is Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). We don’t have anything against the actress, we just don’t care for Gwen. Even as a villain she really isn’t clicking with us.

We also have a recast complaint, which is Cady McClain filling in for Melissa Reeves. We understand that Jennifer Horton had to be temporarily recast. We know that any recast isn’t going to be “exactly” like the previous actress. However, we are having a hard time liking the new Jennier. We don’t feel bad for her and she’s not making us root for Jennifer and Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) reconciliation. We can’t really explain why… it just isn’t working.
