DOOL spoilers reveal that there is a huge bombshell or revelation each New Year’s Eve. It seems we are going to be having another one this year, too. Head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest that we will find out why Gwen is so angry with the Deveraux family. Then shortly after that we will see harsh consequences. He added that there is another chapter to the story, so don’t expect Gwen to pack her bags anytime soon!

There is a popular theory that Days of Our Lives Gwen and Abigail are half-sisters. This does seem like a logical assumption. However, we are wondering if it’s something much bigger than a paternity secret. Trying to melt your half-sibling’s brain because she got daddy growing up and you didn’t seems like overkill.

Many months ago when Gwen first moved into the DiMera mansion, she was drinking heavily. During one of those scenes, Gwen was talking to herself. She looked angry, like she always does. At the same time, her eyes began swelling up with tears. So, we are wondering if Abigail killed someone Gwen really cared for. She literally was not herself for a while during the “Gabigail” storyline. She was pretty reckless at that time, too, so she could have murdered someone and not even remember.

Feeling Jack Deveraux’s Wrath

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that there is another reason why we are questioning the paternity plot. DaysCafe reported that Gwen will feel Jack’s wrath. No matter what his children do, he would never do anything to harm them. He would never intentionally scare them and would try to understand rather than react. If Jack is going to show his rage, then that also tells us this isn’t a family storyline. There is something much bigger going on.

While all of that is going on, Abigail will explode with rage and go after Gwen. This could be about her seducing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and/or drugging her so she would go psychotic. Maybe Abigail is most angry about handing her innocent children over to an evil woman like Gwen. But one thing is for sure, there are going to be massive consequences, but who will pay the price? Will it be Gwen or could the Deveraux family deserve what’s happening to them?
