DOOL spoilers reveal that Charlie is holding his mother hostage and plans on killing her. He ends up getting interrupted by a knock on the door. Of course, it’s Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), who has no idea what’s on the other side of that door. We know that Ava and Claire will be saved, but Charlie will continue to be a threat after the New Year.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest DOOL spoilers, head writer Ron Carlivati teased what to expect from Charlie, Ava, Nicole and Rafe. It turns out that Charlie will still be walking around Salem, which means he isn’t arrested or convicted of anything. We know why he can’t be prosecuted for Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape, but what about kidnapping and taking hostages?

Perhaps assault from when he knocked her unconscious? Most likely it is Ava’s word against Charlie’s and as fans know, the mobster daughter isn’t exactly the most reputable witness.

As we go into next year, Days of Our Lives 2021 spoilers show Ava’s life will be threatened constantly. Apparently, Charlie is someone she is afraid of, which really shows you his danger level.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Nicole wants Rafe to do something about Charlie. She knows that he could be charged with something. Meanwhile, she tries to help Ava stay alive. Nicole even suggests that Rafe arrest Ava and put her in a jail cell for her own protection. However, Rafe has an unexpected response.

It seems that Rafe doesn’t want to deal with Ava or Charlie. In fact, it is stated that Rafe hesitates to get involved, although we’re not sure why. Rafe is a law enforcement officer first. He is now the police commissioner and that means setting aside his personal feelings. He needs to do his job, even if it’s protecting someone like Ava.

The only other reason we can see for Rafe not getting involved is that he won’t be able to make any charges stick on Days of Our Lives. Or perhaps Charlie has been careful not to leave evidence of any crime. We will have to wait and see how these scenes play out to learn what is going through Rafe’s mind. Charlie has to be arrested and convicted of something eventually, right?
