Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Camila Banus Battling COVID-19, Actress Staying Positive And Strong

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) recently traveled to Florida and got engaged. She also just wrapped up celebrating Christmas, but she shared some sad news today. On Instagram, the actress confirmed she tested positive for COVID-19. However, she is staying positive and strong while she battles the virus.

Traveling And Getting Engaged

DOOL spoilers reveal that Banus has been traveling recently and ended up in Florida. As fans may recall, she excitedly announced she got engaged to boyfriend Marlon Aquino.The proposal took place in Miami and it seems like it was a total surprise to the soap star. Of course she said yes and will now be planning a wedding in the near future.

DOOL Spoilers: Still In The Christmas Spirit

In the video post, Banus was at home in front of her beautiful Christmas tree. It was all lit up and it looks like she’s still enjoying the Christmas holiday. However, her video also had a serious tone to it and that’s when she explained what is going on with her.

Camila Banus Has COVID-19

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Banus said in the video post that on the way back home from Florida, she started not feeling that great. So, she went and got a COVID-19 test done. Unfortunately, the test came up positive.

Even though Banus has the virus, she seems to be in pretty good spirits. She also assured fans that so far, her symptoms are not serious. She was starting to lose her voice a little bit, as well as some nasal congestion. However, other than those two things, Banus seems to be feeling mostly okay. In fact, at that point in the video, she began acting silly and having fun with the person who was filming her. They do say that laughter is the best medicine, so it sounds like she has everything under control!

Banus is well-known for her positivity and this is no exception. Of course, nobody wants to receive a COVID-19 diagnosis. But like she said, it is what it is and she’s a strong girl. There’s no use blaming anyone or getting angry about it.

We are very sorry to hear that Camila Banus tested positive for COVID-19. However, we are glad to hear that her symptoms are extremely mild and she is in such good spirits.
