Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) grills the young woman. He hopes that there will be some overlooked clue that will lead to answers. It seems that he is right about that. An overlooked detail may solve the case, but also expose some long-hidden secrets that will affect several characters.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Steve wants to find out what really happened the night Allie was raped. Despite the evidence stacked against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), Steve believes his son is innocent. He thinks there might be some clue or small detail from that night in London that could provide answers. As Steve knows from his investigative and undercover work, a tiny clue that seems insignificant could actually hold the key to solving an entire case. He’s already talked to Tripp about that night a few times. Now, he needs to talk to Allie.

There is one detail that Tripp keeps bringing up to Allie. He has said repeatedly that he left a note on her nightstand with his phone number. Each time he brings it up, she responds by saying she never found a note. It seems really insignificant and unimportant, but it could be a big clue. There is a reason why the missing note has been brought up at least four different times during this storyline.

Well, we previously speculated that the real rapist has been secretly stalking Tripp and threw away the note. If that person is his secret twin or brother, there might be resentment. From the outside, Tripp looks like he has a nice, comfortable life and maybe the other sibling wasn’t so lucky.

However, with the new information that Steve questions Allie, we are wondering if the real rapist actually kept that note. Perhaps that individual still has that note, keeping it as a trophy or memento.

It is teased that the same week Steve questions Allie, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will find out the truth. Could that note from the London crime scene actually be discovered in Salem? We are thinking that Tripp’s secret brother is hiding in plain sight. We know that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) is overjoyed when her relationship becomes “official.” That is a big red flag in the soap world. It pretty much guarantees that Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) will be exposed, which means Claire once again trusted a monster.
