Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Comings & Goings: Saying Goodbye To Abigail DiMera
The DOOL alum left the NBC soap opera and her character, Abigail DiMera, was recast. Marci Miller played the part, then left, which prompted Mansi’s return. But then fans found out that there was another casting shakeup when Mansi left once again and now we are seeing Miller back as Abigail. It’s been a whirlwind roller coaster for these ladies and the back-and-forth casting switch-ups would make anyone dizzy.
DOOL Alum Joins ‘Casa Grande’
According to IMDB, Mansi will play the role of Hunter in “Casa Grande.” The cast includes actors from Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Colombia. Lauren Swickard is the creator and showrunner, Alex Ranarivelo and Michael Cruz are the writers and the producers are Ava Rettke, Daniel Aspromonte and ESX Entertainment CEO Ali Afshar. Filming is reportedly taking place in Sonoma County, California.

The Days of Our Lives alum will be working with Ali Afshar, Laura Aleman, Gunnar Anderson, Salome Azizi, Karen Bethzabe, Javier Bolanos, Luis Chavez and Jackie Dallas. The casting information also lists Raquel Dominguez, Deborah Emery, Loren Escandon, Ronan Hannon, Timothy Huls, Christian James and George Kosturos.

Mansi was supposed to get married earlier this year, but had to postpone her wedding. COVID-19 swept like wildfire, caused travel restrictions and shut down many parts of the country. She struggled to deal with important people who were supposed to attend the wedding who wouldn’t be able to cross the border. After much consideration, she decided that the wedding would happen at a later date. Even though it was a sad moment for her, Mansi remained upbeat and positive. She also made it clear that she was extremely grateful, especially with how many others are struggling.
