NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in Salem Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is going to do whatever is necessary to clear her son’s name. Since the DNA results prove that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) are related, what if there is no secret twin? What if it’s a member of Ava’s own family and was done to get rid of Tripp?

DNA Results Prove Genetic Link

DOOL spoilers reveal that Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has brought up how paternity tests always get tampered with or switched in Salem. This is exactly why Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) ran it four times and kept a close eye on it. However, all the results were the same… Tripp and Henry share similar DNA.

While Tripp having a secret twin is a popular theory, what if the DNA is similar for another reason?

DOOL Spoilers: Ava Vitali’s Father

There have been several mentions about Ava’s father and how he ripped Tripp away and sold him on the black market. He didn’t end up being bought by a desperate couple, though. He grew up in foster homes and the people he considered mom and dad weren’t exactly the best role models.

Now, we don’t think that Ava’s father is Henry’s father. He’s probably not even alive, but we do think it’s a starting point.

The Mobster Family Code

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that a lot of times in soaps, mobsters have a family code. So, even if the Vitali patriarch is no longer around, his wishes would probably be upheld. He did not want Ava having Tripp under any circumstances. So, what if the family is still carrying that wish even to this day? Mobster families are seen on TV as being so tight, wouldn’t a nephew or cousin be someone they would want to find?

Maybe Ava’s father and the rest of the Vitali family is so determined to keep Ava away from Tripp that the rape was set up. It seems that whoever raped Allie knew that she would be in London at the same time as Tripp. That they would be in the same club on the same night in a huge city like London? It can’t be a coincidence, this sounds like it was all premeditated and planned. Even down to Tripp’s note disappearing and Allie being raped right after Tripp left her flat.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Framing Tripp Dalton

If the Vitali’s want to keep Ava from her son, then what better way than to get him imprisoned in another country? They probably thought that Allie would report the rape immediately and Tripp would be arrested in London. Since Tripp is half Vitali, any DNA evidence would probably be a close enough match for a conviction. Especially since Allie “saw” Tripp’s face. It is possible that there are members of Ava’s family that might look similar to Tripp. At least close enough to make a falling down drunk girl think it’s the guy from the club.

Now, this seems really far-fetched to keep a mother and son apart. We also don’t really know why the Vitali family doesn’t want Ava to have her boy, even though he’s grown now. But Days can get really wild and crazy. As fans know, anything is possible.
