Deadliest Catch New Episode: Season 16 “Blood Is Thicker Than Water”
An all new Deadliest Catch episode airs on Discovery Channel on Tuesday, September 15 2020, Season 16 Episode 22 “Blood Is Thicker Than Water.”
Can you believe that we are already in Season 16 of Discovery’s hit TV show Deadliest Catch? Our favorite fishermen will be put to the test in Episode 22.
An official episode 22 synopsis courtesy of network’s official website teases, “Jake is forced to steam a greenhorn army to the Russian line while Josh fights to get home to see his brother amid a pandemic. Meanwhile, Sig’s daughter gets rushed to the hospital.”
Deadliest Catch News: Jake Harris Update
Deadliest Catch cast member Josh Harris has been keeping fans updated on social media since COVID hit. Of course, the “brother” referenced in the episode spoilers is former Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris. Jake was arrested back in 2019 on heroin charges and a stolen weapon and has been serving an 18 month sentence in prison.
The Deadliest Catch episodes airing now were shot at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, it sounds like Deadliest Catch’s Josh Harris was trying to visit brother Jake Harris while he was behind bars before they closed the doors to outside visitors.
If you have any friends or loved ones in the prison system right now, like Josh Harris does, then you are well aware of the restrictions the jails had to put in place to stop the spread of Corona. Some inmates haven’t seen anyone from the outside world since March.
Deadliest Catch New Episodes: Hansen Family’s Scare
Deadliest Catch spoilers also hint that Sig Hansen will have a scare as his daughter is rushed to the hospital. We will have to tune in to the all new episode to find out if the hospital visit is related to an injury on the water, or a Corona situation.
Regardless, Mandy Hansen is alive and will on social media now so it appears everything works out. Also, Deadliest Catch fans can look forward to more Russia drama, and the end of an era on the Saga.
