Love After Lockup Cast: Brittany Dodd and Marcelino Santiago Update – Where Are They Now

On Love After Lockup we have met a lot of couples that have gone to prison and made the choice to fall in love. Some of these Love After Lockup couples are married when one of them goes into jail, but some find love afterward. A fan-favorite couple, Brittany Dodd and Marcelino Santiago had a great love story.

Love After Lockup’s Brittany and Marcelino had quite a few challenges and fans loved to see them showing their patience and love for one another. It has been quite a while since they were on the show, so we wanted to give you a quick update on them.

Love After Lockup Cast: Where Are They Now?

When they were on Love After Lockup, Brittany Dodd explained her childhood as being very troubled. She left her home at the age of 12 because she was being abused. At the age of 15, she got pregnant, and then her children were put into CPS protection because she wasn’t sober. When she was 18, she was arrested and was in jail for five years.

In 2013, Brittany Dodd was released from prison, but then in 2017, she was arrested once again for conspiracy to commit robbery. That was the last time that we saw her in prison and now, it looks like the former convict has finally gotten on the right track.

Marcelino has stood by her side through thick and thin and it looks like they are doing very well. They just had their second child and they have told fans that they will not have any more children.

Love After Lockup cast member Marcelino said that they are doing very well and things have gotten so much better after they filmed the show. They have many fans and followers from the show and they do love the support they have gotten.

Love After Lockup News: Brittany & Marcelino Return September 2020

A new baby isn’t the only thing that’s happening in their lives. They decided to take on a home renovation project and they love working on their house. Brittany just published a book called “One Woman’s Journey: Surviving the Streets.” She told her fans that she wanted to be as honest as possible with the book and show everyone what she had been through.

We are so happy that Brittany and Marcelino are enjoying life and straight and narrow. You can see them next month when Life After Lockup returns to WE for a special quarantine spinoff.
