Sister Wives News: Robyn Brown’s Dark Past, Abusive Ex-Husband
Sister Wives spoilers reveal that cast member Robyn Brown joined Kody Brown’s extended family in 2010. They have two kids together, Ariella and Solomon Brown, who have multiple parental figures that pay attention to them and make sure they are healthy. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for Robyn’s three kids with her ex, David Jessop.
Sister Wives’ Kody Brown has adopted the kids but not before they were abused (according to Robyn) by David who was arrested on assault charges in 2018. According to Radar Online David Jessop was arrested and charged with family member assault in 2018. This occurred after Robyn left him and he pled not guilty. He reportedly paid fines for, “disorderly conduct.”
Sister Wives Cast News: Robyn Brown’s Ex David Jessop
The three older kids are named Breanna, Aurora, and Dayton and they have no interaction with David. The Hollywood Gossip talked to Robyn about the situation and she reportedly said, “He doesn’t (see the kids) out of choice.” Robyn then tweeted, “I am not making them choose. I can’t control whether my ex chooses to take his time with them.”
Robyn has claimed that her ex “bullied” the kids. The Hollywood Gossip reported that Robyn said, “Just to clarify, I do not tolerate my kids getting bullied. I ended my first marriage because of abuse. My kids come first ALWAYS.”
Sister Wives Spoilers: Robyn’s Kids Today
Today Robyn’s kids view Kody Brown as their father. Dayton is at Northern Arizona University and fans don’t see very much of Robyn’s other older kids, Aurora and Brianna Brown. Kody married Robyn years after she joined the family and after he persuaded first wife Meri Brown to give him a divorce so he could adopt Robyn’s three kids.
Right now the storyline between Kody and Meri could be a series all on it’s own. There has been a ton of chatter about the status of their relationship and both sides seem eager to fuel the flames on social media. In contrast Robyn hardly ever goes on social media.
Why is that? Some fans think Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown appears insecure and some conjecture that she is still addressing her past abusive relationship. So, it could be that Robyn’s desire for privacy is born out of a need to keep her past out of the headlines and the desire to heal herself in the meantime.
One thing that does seem certain is that Robyn and her children fit into the Sister Wives family and have become part of a larger supportive group.
