Big Brother Season 22 Spoilers: Two-Hour BB22 Premiere Featuring All-Stars

The first time there was an All-Stars season on Big Brother was nearly 15 years ago. Due to the pandemic interrupting casting, the decision was made to just have another season with returning players. We will see the players moving into the house live.

In addition to this, CBS has confirmed we will see a two-hour BB22 premiere. A promotional video clip was released by the network confirming All-Stars 2. Plus, host Julie Chen Moonves also broadcasted the updated logo and premiere date on her social media pages.

BB22 News & Spoilers: Pandemic Operations

There was some concern over whether Big Brother 22 would even happen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s definitely still happening, although the premiere is behind a few weeks. Plus, CBS has promised there are safety measures in place to keep everyone safe. Testing has already begun and everything is starting their two-week initial quarantine. Players will be tested on a weekly basis and everything that comes into the house will be disinfected.

The cast and crew will be kept apart, there will be daily medical screenings, and protective gear must be worn on set. CBS will also have a coronavirus compliance officer on set.

Even though the show has announced its premiere date, the cast remains a mystery. This is likely because they are waiting for everyone to be medically cleared. If someone should test positive, they have alternates waiting. In a press release, BB22 teases the contestants will include not just winners, but also :finalists, legends, memorable personalities, and some of the best to never win the game.”

BB22 Premiere Date and Live Feed Interviews For Summer 2020

While it is confirmed that the cast interfviews can be seen on the live feeds, when will we find out who the actual contestants are? That remains unclear and it’s possible we will find out just prior to the interviews. Or perhaps not even until the interviews air on the live feeds on July 29 at 12 pm EST.

The show premieres on Wednesday, August 5 at 9 pm EST. BB22 will air on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
