Love After Lockup Season 3: Real Reason Jessica’s Sister Cut Her Off Revealed?

Love After Lockup season 3 hit WeTV on July 17 with a new cast of convicts and their boyfriends and girlfriends, including Jessica and Maurice.  Summer 2020 is certainly going to be a complete trainwreck on Love After Lockup, and the rumor mill is already in over drive.

Love After Lockup Season 3 premiere introduced us to Jessica and her parents.  Jessica met her husband Maurice on a dating app, thought he was hot, went to prison to meet him, and married him while he was behind bars.  Turns out her family was not supportive, shocker.

Jessica’s parents made it very clear in the season 3 premiere that they were not happy about their daughter’s prison wedding.  Jessica went on to reveal that her sister actually cut her off and has not spoken to her in years because she married her prison boyfriend.

Then, Jessica proceeded to drive by her sister’s house and stalk her with the Love After Lockup camera crew.  And, panicked and drove off when she spotted her sister checking her mail.

Love After Lockup’s Jessica sobbed on camera about how unfair it was that her sister wouldn’t speak to her or let her see her niece.  We get why Jessica’s sister was mad, but general consensus on social media is that there’s a lot more to the story.  And, that scene of Jessica in her car may actually explain it.

One Love After Lockup viewer on social media claimed to know the family in real life, and mentioned on a Love After Lockup Reddit thread that the real reason Jessica’s sister cut her off had to do with money, and her using her parents to bankroll her prison wife life.

Who knows if the tipster is legit, but there could be some truth to their comments.  After all, Jessica confessed on the Love After Lockup Season 3 premiere that she was driving her Mom’s old car, and judging by the tape on the window, she wasn’t in a good place financially.

Even more interesting, Jessica was introduced on Love After Lockup as a Marketing Consultant, which it turns out is actually a fancy word for running free sample booths at the supermarket and selling Keto Coffee and weight loss wraps on social media.

Prior to selling weight loss gimicks, Jessica was a cashier at Walmart.  So, there’s a very real possibility her parents are helping her out financially, and that could also be a source of the drama with her sister.
