Princess Anne Just Shot Harry and Meghan With This Dagger?

Did Princess Anne just shade her nephew Harry and his wife Meghan in an interview with Vanity Fair? She didn’t name names, but if the shoe fits, as they say!

What did outspoken Anne say this time? According to Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English, “I’m told when asked whether Harry and Meghan might be a little put out by the implicit criticism, the Princess simply said she’d ‘get in touch’ with her nephew if need be.”

Basically, Anne didn’t say anything that hasn’t been said before, especially by Harry’s dad Prince Charles. Both the siblings are traditionalists when it comes to the monarchy and its way of doing things, which is in direct opposition to Harry and Meghan’s “finding freedom” point of view.

Princess Anne may have been referring to her absent nephew Harry with her cutting remark?

Harry and his wife are so out of agreement with the royal family on how things should be done that they made a grand exit from the family and the country in an outrageously public move known as Megxit.

Thus it makes sense why everyone thinks that Anne’s recent comments were targeted at the wayward couple. Basically what she said was that The Firm has a time honored approach to getting the job done and overhauling it would not be helpful.

Should the royal family change the manner in which they perform their duties?

She started off by describing herself as, “the boring old fuddy-duddy at the back saying, ‘Don’t forget the basics.’”

“I don’t think this younger generation probably understands what I was doing in the past and it’s often true, isn’t it? You don’t necessarily look at the previous generation and say, ‘Oh, you did that?’ Or, ‘You went there?’”

She went on, “Nowadays, they’re much more looking for, ‘Oh let’s do it a new way.’ And I’m already at the stage, ‘Please do not reinvent that particular wheel. ‘We’ve been there, done that. Some of these things don’t work. “‘You may need to go back to basics.’”

Princess Anne is admired for her direct and forthright manner

Let’s see, who could she have been talking about? Surely Harry and Meghan aren’t foolish enough to think that they can or should reinvent the wheel are they? No comment.

At any rate Princess Anne knows what she’s talking about as she heads up over 200 charities and was recently awarded an honorary degree for her commitment to non-for-profit groups by the University of Aberdeen.

Compared with that, what have Harry and Meghan done lately? It’s a rhetorical question—there really is no answer is there?
