Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) isn’t one to give up, even when things aren’t going his way. As DOOL viewers know, Xander recently alienated Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) big time when he suggested that she adopt Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby. Sarah threw Xander out of her room and demanded that he leave the mansion as well, so Xander is going to have something new to lament.
Well, the last time Xander wanted to do something to make things up to Sarah, he turned to an unlikely source for advice. As DOOL viewers will remember, Xander wanted to run a 2-page ad in the Spectator announcing to the world how sorry he was for what he did to Sarah when he switched her baby with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) baby. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) promptly talked Xander out of the idea.
NBC Days Spoilers & Updates: Jack And Xander’s Friendship Grows
It seemed to be an unlikely friendship between Jack and Xander, but they at least got along well, and Jack was happy to offer Xander his advice about how not to apologize to Sarah. Of course, viewers will remember that Xander once helped hold Jack captive in the DiMera warehouse in Nashville, so they have a bit of a complicated history. But still, it’s nice to see Xander have some semblance of a friendship with someone.
And Jack can probably relate to Xander’s situation as someone with a sordid history. We could see Jack and Xander becoming actual friends down the road, and DOOL spoilers say that Xander will once again confide in Jack during the week of July 6th. According to the spoilers, Xander will let Jack know what’s going on between himself and Sarah, and it doesn’t look like it will be good.
DOOL Spoilers: Jack Gives Advice To His New BFF
Perhaps Jack can give Xander some more sage advice for how he can undo some of the damage he did when he insinuated that Sarah could replace Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton with another baby. Chances are, Xander’s first instinct about how to best remedy the situation and make amends won’t be particularly good, so maybe Jack can weigh in.
It would actually be nice to see Xander with a real and true friend going forward. If DOOL really wants to redeem Xander after everything he’d done, then showing that he’s capable of maintaining a decent friendship is probably a good start. Of course, that means that Xander would need to demonstrate that he’s a friend to Jack as well as Jack handing out advice here and there. That could lead to some interesting possibilities.
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Soap Spoilers: Will Jack Help Xander Win Sarah Back
A Jack/Xander friendship could be intriguing going forward on DOOL. Jack could wind up being responsible for Xander and Sarah getting back together, assuming that ever happens down the line. And Xander could even offer Jack some comfort as he deals with Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) difficult situation in dealing with the aftereffects of her drugging. Xander could even offer his expertise in tracking down who really drugged Abigail – that seems right up his alley.
At any rate, it seems that Jack and Xander will be up for another big talk soon, with Jack back in a position to offer Xander his take on all the goings-on with Sarah.
