NBC Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the summer soap drama is set to heat up exponentially when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) finally reveals all about her baby daddy. Right now all we know is that she is pregnant, doesn’t want her controlling mom Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) to know, and refuses to divulge the identity of her unborn baby’s father.

But our inside source at NBC has revealed a clue that points to the man’s identity, and if correct, nothing short of an incendiary fiasco will break out when the truth emerges.

Allie has been SORAS’d which is why her pregnancy may be shocking but is entirely legit! We last saw the character as a little girl, but in true soap opera fashion, she has aged overnight! Allie is now a young woman and while she has revealed her pregnancy secret, she has yet to reveal her baby daddy secret.

There’s a good reason for that if the rumor about the guy is true. Not only would he be someone her family disapproves of, he might not even know that he’s about to become a dad.

There’s every reason to think that Allie’s baby daddy is connected to someone currently in Salem but a newbie to town.

Who’s the hottest character to come down the pike in a long while? Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). And where there’s smoke there’s fire, which means that since the character has attracted tons of positive fan attention TPTB would want to capitalize on that popularity.  Could Allie’s baby daddy be someone connected to Jake? Absolutely!

It makes perfect sense to further tie Jake to the canvas by giving him a connection to a core Salem family like the Horton’s. Is it his brother, a cousin, or a business associate of Jake’s who could be Allie’s baby daddy?

Our source thinks that having an associate be the daddy is an easier solution since it eliminates any ties to Jake’s identity which thus far TPTB have wanted to keep murky.
