Prince William and Kate Middleton Have The Weight Of The World On Their Shoulders

Prince william, Kate Middleton, Royals At this point The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William, are in isolation at Anmer Hall with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Like millions of families around the globe, the Coronavirus pandemic has impacted their lives to the point of isolation.

Nonetheless they have been regularly updating the public on how their lives are going on as well as conducting virtual business.  Could that be about to drastically change? It may if the queen is unable to resume her pre-coronavirus duties and schedule.

Will the Duchess of Cambridge be given a heavier load in coming months?

Other royals have done their part to support the country and maintain their duties. Some have opened new hospitals via teleconference, and others have used social media to praise the country’s workers on the front lines.

Queen Elizabeth herself is isolated but recently gave a taped inspirational speech on VE Day. Will the Queen ever return to public duties?

It is a question now being asked in light of several factors, including the 94-yer old queen’s age.

Should the 94-year-old monarch be meet and greeting people in person?

One royal watcher told The Sun that he thinks that the Queen may not be able to resume her normal duties in light of the pandemic.

She currently Queen is in the midst of her longest work absence during her 68-year-reign and Andrew Morton thinks that from here on out videos and teleconferencing may be the only option because, “if she gets the bug, it could be fatal.” Prince Philip has been ill in recent years which would also heighten fears over the queen contracting the virus.

If Her Majesty cannot return to her previous outgoing lifestyle, will the burden of royal work fall on Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate?

Prince Charles is over 70 but he has already won a battle with the virus.

Another royal watcher, Ingrid Seward, thinks that Kate and William feel, “wholly responsible,” for guiding the public right now.

“They have the highest-profile and want to use it to the benefit of the monarchy which has to be seen as being a comfort to people at this time.” She added that the couple, “are far more relaxed and comfortable since Meghan and Harry left. I think the Cambridges want to let people see their children in controlled circumstances, that is, that they have control over.”
