There was no goodbye and as far as fans could tell, he never even went to see his mom, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) after the brain chip was removed. However, not to fear because he will be back in a few months.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Shawn came back a few weeks ago when Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) called him for help. He was trying to piece together what was wrong with Hope. It turns out that Rafe called the right person. While Rafe had no experience with Princess Gina von Amberg (Kristian Alfonso), Shawn was able to tell right away that she had taken over. Not only has he dealt with the art thief before, she tried to kill him many years ago.

However, there was no obvious exit. Just one day Shawn was on our TV screens and hte next he was gone. Shawn wasn’t even there when Hope went through surgery to extract the brain chip. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, it was confirmed that he was done filming scenes.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that there are already plans for Shawn to come back though. Expect to Beemer once again in June 2020. However, there are no indications of how long he will stay or what his storyline could be about.

It is possible that he might come back for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding. The two just got engaged and will walk down the aisle. We don’t have a wedding date yet, but Shawn should be there to support his little sister.

In a previous issue of Soap Opera Digest, Beemer said that he was excited to come back during his most recent stint. He also expressed interest in coming back on a long-term, more permanent basis. He feels that there are lots his character could do in Salem. Fans seem to agree with this, based on comments made in fan forums. All we can do is hope that one day, he is brought back to his soap home.
