The Walking Dead Spoilers: Why Judith Didn’t Tell That Rick Is Still Alive
On The Walking Dead Season 10, Episode 15, Judith realized in The Strolling Useless that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) may still be alive. However, she does not share this information with Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) during Episode 15, titled “The Tower.” This episode serves as the final episode since the finale is postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Strolling Useless’s official Season 10 finale will premiere later this year. For now, TWD fans will have to deal with this cliffhanger, as per Binge Post.
The Strolling Useless Season 10 is focused on the conflict with the Whisperers. Each side has its share of deceased individuals, but Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killing of Alpha (Samantha Morton) has turned a new level. Now that Alpha is dead, Beta (Ryan Hurst) is available for Whisperers who want to stay. While he doesn’t want to be known as the new Alpha, he has been creating his own herd of walkers as a backup. The survivors of Alexandria and Hilltop need to flee their communities and are now settling into a hospital construction. Daryl looks around the area for any indicators of settlement, and in The Strolling Useless’s Season 10 episode, Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) joins him on this mission.
During The Strolling Useless Season 10, Episode 15, “The Tower,” Daryl and Judith come across a Whisperer spy and try to catch her. Daryl uses his signature arrow to shoot the Whisperer. As she lies on the floor, he asks her about Beta and the group’s whereabouts. The Whisperer wouldn’t provide any information and Daryl ends up killing her. Judith is disturbed by his behavior. When he asks her what’s wrong, Judith is at first nervous about the woman he just killed and fascinated with how they just left her there in the ditch. Then the subject turns to one of the members of her family.
Judith reveals that she spoke to Michonne and realized that she wasn’t coming back. She then explains that she didn’t inform Daryl sooner out of concern that she could leave too. Judith also revealed that Rick could still be alive and is the person that Michonne is looking for. Judith was reluctant to tell Daryl at first because she wasn’t sure if she needed him – or anyone else – to leave.

She also didn’t want to give him false hope. Michonne (Danai Gurira) was especially cautious when she told Judith about the clues that pointed to Rick’s survival. But Judith isn’t in the same place. She’s already worried about those she loves leaving her, and if she were to share that Rick was alive, then more people would leave to search for him.

But she doesn’t want to give anyone a sense of false hope that Rick could be alive. Judith is growing up and making her own decisions.
