In fact, a promo clip shows Jack standing in a hospital room as his wife, Lucy Damon (Auden Thornton) is tightly gripping the hand of a medical professional.
It is indicated that Lucy is in labor, but Jack has a worried look on his face. It could just be nerves of waiting for the birth of his first child. However, Jack might also experience a loss. Let’s hope that both mother and child survive.
This Is Us Season 4 Finale Spoilers: Dr. Nathan Katowski
Remember the doctor that delivered Rebecca’s babies? Dr. Nathan Katowski (Gerald McRaney) is seen holding a newborn. Gently rocking the baby to sleep, he sings a song. However, the way he is singing “Blue Skies” gives the impression that it’s a sad moment. He also has a somber look on his face.
The show often subtly connects what happens in the present with flashbacks from the past. We also don’t know a whole lot about Nathan’s history. It was revealed that he had a difficult time moving on after his wife died, but he occasionally pops up in scenes.
In the promo, Dr. Katowski has a white/gray beard, so this is the present day. Perhaps he is reminded about his own loss? Or could this be a hint that the delivery of a baby ends with the end of the mother’s life?
Who Is Kevin Pearson’s Pregnant Fiancee?
For what seems like an eternity, fans have been waiting to find out the identity of Kevin’s pregnant fiancee. According to Good Housekeeping, we will likely find out on Tuesday’s episode. If for some reason she isn’t revealed, then we will hopefully get some big hints.
Kevin has been connected to many women since the show began. If we have already met his pregnant fiancee, then possibilities include Cassidy Sharp (Jennifer Morrison), Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge), and Madison (Caitlin Thompson).

Rebecca Pearson’s Health Story Continues
This Is Us season 4 finale spoilers reveal Rebecca will continue to struggle with her medical condition. Randall has taken control of her health care and seems to think he knows what is best for his mom. Part of this is because he loves his mother, but the other part of it is due to his anxiety disorder. When someone with anxiety can’t control what is happening in their world, they grasp onto something they can control.
We already know Kevin has major issues with this and also was angry that nobody was informed about Rebecca’s condition. However, Rebecca might also start to take the reins of her medical care. Despite making it clear she didn’t want to participate in a clinical trial, Randall kept pushing until she agreed. That might crop back up in the season 4 finale. As for her future, Rebecca’s health story will continue into season 5.
