In a statement about coronavirus, it was stated that the Royal Family was committed to doing their part. She also mentioned finding new ways to communicate while people self-isolate and go into quarantine.

“Many of us will need to find new ways of staying in touch with each other and making sure that loved ones are safe. I am certain we are up to that challenge.”

Using Skype and Facetime

Families are separated to avoid spreading COVID-19 and sometimes, it’s necessary to protect them. However, being able to stay in touch is important. It seems that Queen Elizabeth is adapting and learning to use technology to see and speak with others.

While Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are in Windsor, other members of the Royal Family are being affected in different ways. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in self-isolation after possible exposure to COVID-19. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles canceled their overseas tour.

Princess Anne is still powering away at her royal duties despite the pandemic. As for Prince William and Kate Middleton, they seem to be dedicated to supporting first responders. They also recently visited a call center that is dealing with coronavirus on a daily basis.
