Tom Hiddleston Prepares for Loki Disney+ Series

Tom Hiddleston just shared his first behind the scenes from his new Marvel TV series. The actor is to star in Loki, which is expected to premiere in 2021. Hiddleston has been working out to look like a superhero again to prepare for his role as Loki in the Disney+ series.

The 38-year-old took to Instagram to post a video of his high-flying skills, as reported by People. In the clip, Hiddleston wore a harness as he practiced a high-flying moving through the air before landing on a green cushion below him.

Hiddleston Said That “Prep” Had Begun On The Series With A Group Photo Posted To Instagram

“Prep is going well. #Loki,” the actor joked in the caption. Back in December, Hiddleston said that “prep” had begun on the series with a group photo posted to Instagram. “Team Loki. Prep has officially begun! See you in the New Year,” Hiddleston wrote. Then in November, the Avengers star exclaimed his excitement for the Disney+ series with Jimmy Fallon. Hiddleston stated that he “didn’t expect to be cast at all,” after he auditioned for the role of Thor.

“It is amazing. I never expected,” Hiddleston told the talk show host. “I auditioned for the first Thor film 10 years ago, in 2009, and I just thought I was auditioning for a movie. You know, an interesting part in an interesting movie.” Hiddleston said that when he auditioned for the role, the Marvel universe was nothing like the franchise that it’s transformed into.

Hiddleston Was Cast In The First Thor Movie Alongside Chris Hemsworth And Natalie Portman By Director Kenneth Branagh

“Back then, the Marvel universe was only – they’d just make Iron Man, and I thought, ‘I’ll have a go,'” he continued. “I didn’t expect to be cast at all, so I can’t believe I’ve got my own show. I never auditioned for Loki, I only ever auditioned for Thor, so it’s nuts.”
