General Hospital spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine, (Marcus Coloma) fresh on the heels of disappointment by his son Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicolas J. Bechtel) anger towards him for playing dead for over three years, will return home only to find out his mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been shot in an upcoming episode of GH!
Laura Collins Was Caught In Gunfire Down On The Waterfront
Laura was down on the waterfront with Michael Corinthos, (Chad Duell), Josslyn Jacks, (Eden McCoy) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) near the Corinthos Coffee warehouse. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) also came to the warehouse about the same time to deliver papers to the new foreman, Tony (Philip K. Boyd), along with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) who had wanted to have a tour of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business.
Gunfire rang out with at least four or five gunmen taking aim at Carly, and at Michael, and Laura was shot in the stomach, falling down on some coffee bags, as did Carly. However, the General Hospital weekly promo, “Turf Wars” shows that Laura was bleeding from the stomach area, which means she probably has serious internal injuries! Michael and Sasha were not able to rouse the unconscious Laura after the gunmen fled!
Nikolas Cassadine Knows His Mother Is In Very Serious Condition
Nikolas will learn when he arrives back in Port Charles, that his mother is in very serious condition, and time is of the essence if he is going to try to make amends with her. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) too will be very upset at this turn of events, since Laura was kind to her when no one else was after the Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) debacle. He was shot in the chest and it took a long time for him to recover, but then he was in cold water swimming until he was rescued, and may have lost a lot of blood too as he swam– as has his mother.

If she has to have a transfusion, he will want to donate his blood if he is a match. Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that the reason Nikolas came to Port Charles from Greece in the first place as a teenager was to donate bone marrow to his baby sister Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and save her life, as she had suffered from aplastic anemia. Nikolas indeed was telling Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) the truth when he told her that his picture was on her mother’s phone because he had saved her life before!
Nikolas And Ava Jerome Cassadine May Both Visit Laura Collins
Both Nikolas and Ava may visit Laura if she is awake and in shape to receive visitors. Even though Ava has some revenge on her mind concerning Nikolas, it doesn’t extend to his mother!
Ava will be concerned for Laura as Nikolas will, although Nikolas is bound to be more concerned since he has not made amends with his mother for letting her grieve for all those years when he could have come back or at least called her on a burner phone to let her know he was in hiding, as Spencer made a point of telling him also!

Ava feels closeness to Laura and will want to extend her support and Nikolas will want to make amends, although they may not tell her the meeting with Spencer didn’t go so well, but that now he knows. There may be a call from Spencer waiting on Laura’s phone as well!
